Away From Keyboard

Been preoccupied with life to post on my blog the past couple of days. BUT let me tell you of that crazy car incident that happened some night ago.


A friend wanted to engage in some exercise so we decided to go to one of the high schools to shoot some hoops and run the track around 9pm. The lateness is in order to avoid the Fresno summer sun. After we finished running around the track and trying to do pull ups on the kids' jungle gym, we head to our cars to get some refreshing drinks. To my dismay, my battery for my car alarm died! So I could not unalarm my car or unlock it without annoying sounds. But my friend insists that we can just unlock the car manually with a key so he does...and the alarm goes off...for about five minutes. Embarrassing. Especially since there were these two men playing tennis and they death glared me while the alarm was going off. I'm sorry sirs, but it's my battery. I swear I'm not trying to steal this car.

We drive to our local grocery store--thank God it's open until 12pm. I buy the battery model that's listed on the car manual and an eyeglass repair kit to unscrew the car alarm beeper keychain thingy. When we open it up we realize WRONG BATTERY. Wow. So we exchange the batter for the proper one and fix it up. PTL it worked and I was able to retrieve my car. JEEZ.

Yes. Everything was very unexpected. But always nice to have something to blog about =)
